D&R African Hair Braiding

I was looking for a good braider to do my daughter’s hair and I found this place. It was the worst decision I could’ve made. My daughter was in so much pain from the too tight braids that were smaller than I requested. The top of her hair stuck up in an ugly way and wouldn’t lay down after wrapping down (I have pictures). We have gotten box braids many times and have never had such a bad job done. I contacted the owner Rose who argued with me saying she does hair well and has many clients who agree and that’s great but people make mistakes and you can tell by the pictures that a mistake happened here. Rose did offer to fix it but my daughter head is in pain and doesn’t want them to touch her hair again. I don’t like to do bad reviews but I was upset to see my baby so unhappy with her hair

Tbh I did love it when I first got my hair done but after the next few days they started to slip out and when it came into the 2nd week, 8 of my twist had come out when I was sleeping, and just styling my hair for the day. I wouldn’t have her do my hair again because of they didn’t last, I had to provide my own hair, I had to make a $20 deposit just for scheduling and the pricing is just Ridiculous.

I love coming here. Rose is the best hair braider I've ever had. My hair is never too, tight & she's such a sweet person.

My daughter and I have been going to Rose for 10 + years. She never disappoints. She is clean, fast, and friendly. Now I have my Mom going as well. She is the best!!!
