I’m a dark brown brunette with hair down to my waist, and my last balayage here was two years ago. Unfortunately, my recent visit was disappointing. No strand test was done to check how my old color would lift or if my hair was healthy enough for bleaching. Both my virgin and previously processed hair were bleached at once, and the shampooing was rough. Afterward, my hair was blow-dried and straightened at the highest heat — I even saw smoke from the flat iron. At first, the yellow tones didn’t look too bad, but once home, the color was clearly uneven and brassy. I spent five hours at another salon for color correction and treatment and was told it’ll take 2–3 months for my hair to recover. The stylist at DQ was also very insistent about cutting my hair to my shoulders, which I refused.

I love going to DQ Salon! My highlights look beautifully blended and natural, and the cut has so much movement and shape. I always get so many compliments on my hair. Highly recommend!

This is my absolute favorite salon ever. I refuse to go anywhere else. They always do such an amazing job and I love getting my hair done here. It's something I look forward to and I always leave feeling like a Princess. I get my roots done light blonde every few months and they never disappoint!
