Downtown Salon Suites

Owner is very defensive when called today about a terrible haircut that was given to my son. The haircut couldn't have lasted longer than 10 minutes. Seemed rush to me. After seeing his I decided against getting mine done there and will go to my normal barber. I will also just pay my normal barber to fix my son's hair. (My choice) The owner was more fixated on defending rather than fixing the situation which is terrible customer service in my opinion. I was basically called racist because I described the person who cut his hair as Mexican. Although she did offer to fix the issue she seemed very offended at me calling in at all explaining Lu Lu has been there 15 years yadayada. I hate giving bad reviews especially to business's here in Wylie since I was born and raised here but I couldn't

The ladies at DSS are absolutely wonderful!!!! Kristen is my go to for hair and has been for 15 years! Maddie is the best injection queen around!

The best place to get your hair cut, colored or even extensions. All the ladies are professional. And don't forget to try the amazing facials. Or even get your eye brows tattoo. Love this place.

This is a review I wasn’t very excited about writing. I am VERY picky when it comes to hair cuts. I have yet to find someone well versed in cutting a correct bob for me. I have been everywhere it seems in the Wylie/Murphy area. I have cried after many appts and told by my precious husband “it’s just hair.” And that it is, however when you have an idea in place and it can’t be cultivated, it is disheartening. And yes, it’s hair and you wait for it to grow back only to go somewhere else to be disappointed. Fast forward to Lulu! I called on whim because I had let my hair grow to a point I could have someone start again in my hair. I called Downtown Salon Suites and asked that I have someone knowledgeable in short hair.
