Downtown Cutz Barbershop

Carlos is absolutely the best barber AND Braider —I’ve been going to him for the last two years and I’ve followed his services to a couple different shops and now back to Downtown! Go to Carlos and you will not be disappointed!!

I went there yesterday (Friday) with my wife and my son. While my son was getting his haircut, I heard two Dominican barbers on the left side constantly talking and verbally attacking one of their coworkers. It was a really unpleasant experience. They were using very vulgar, street-like language. I understand Spanish perfectly, and honestly, we won’t be coming back. The atmosphere felt heavy and unprofessional. They should learn to work with more respect and stop making fun of each other in front of customers. Definitely not recommended.

Amazing barbershop, super clean! The owner is very professional and the barbers are very patient. The most beautiful barbershop in Hackettstown.

I walked in with overgrown hair and a mountain man beard. Told the young barber that I needed it cut way back and I needed to look professional for an important meeting. I had the best haircut I’ve ever had here. The barber took his time, and used a razor to give me great edges and very clean cut. The inside is done very nicely, is clean, and well organized. Modern amenities including compressed air at the hair cutting stations to blow the cut hair off. Very cool vibe. I don’t speak Spanish, but we managed fine. I will definitely go back and definitely recommend this place.

Benjamin did an amazing job with my sons! I’m always anxious finding someone who does curly hair and he did such a wonderful job! So neat and a great place.
