I had an appointment with Missy yesterday. I have never had such a positive experience with a hairdresser before! Missy educated me on my hair type and really took the time to listen to what I wanted. With her recommendations on how to cut and style my hair, I am thrilled. I never thought I'd go to a barber shop as a woman but I'm pleased that I did. I will go back!

I just got a haircut, at Doug's. Very clean and polite staff. I explained what I wanted and got it done better than expected.

I have been going to Dougs for 6 years. I have always gotten a great hair cut and never had any problems. Prices are reasonable and they are always on time and the facility is clean. I always make an appointment ahead of time with Don who is great! They do take walk ins but on the weekends it can get busy so its best to call ahead of time and make an appointment.

Old school barber shop, it's a cozy little spot and this was my first time going there. Didn't have any wait time on a Saturday morning, sat right down. Woman who did my hair was very friendly, I wish I could recall her name but I will say it was one of the best haircuts I've ever gotten. Very thorough and didn't rush at all, she was honest about telling me my beard needed some cleaning up and I caved on letting her trim it, which I never let anything do after a bad experience. Probably the best choice Ive made in a long while. It's amazing what an expert can do to make you not look like a homeless person... recommend the spot though it probably depends on who you get. I called ahead and asked for a high and tight, also known as a fade and or a skin fade. This is mens cutting 101. I was told over the phone no problem! What I got is an uneven crew cut. No edge up. I had to even tell her to bring the fade line up just to make the cut look like it wasn't done at home. I could even tell she had no idea what she was doing, she was visibly uncomfortable. I should have just gone to were I normally go. My mistake. Don't do the same.
