Over a month ago, I scheduled a toner, cut, and wash. I was told I had to have a blow out and consultation as a first time client - okay, yes I get it. She said “I’m not going to schedule you a toner because Ty will add it after the consultation at your appointment.” I said “okay, but I want the toner done at that appointment so schedule it longer if you need to do both”. It’s not complicated. I’ve never been to a salon as a new client that can’t do this. I’ve talked to this salon 3x over the last month because I was on the cancellation list. Prior to my appointment, I find out I was never scheduled for a toner like I requested the 3 other occasions on the phone. Called up to book my first appointment 2 months in advance and explained how excited I was and how important it was for me to get my hair done for family coming from another country to visit. They requested I come in to the salon for a consultation before they booked my appointment, I did. They booked me in and then one week before my appointment they called me to say the hair stylist quit and they couldn’t get me in with a different stylist until 3 weeks time. Which is when my family leave the country. I explained I really needed to have this done by the date I set the appointment for my family visit but I was willing to come in and see any stylist at any time and I would make sure I’d be there. A friend suggested Doug's to me 6 months ago and I haven't looked back since. Zack is an excellent stylist who is both incredibly skilled and honest with me if a style I'm looking at won't work. The front desk staff are always very welcoming and the atmosphere is relaxing. I'd recommend this place over any in Montgomery.
