IF YOU ARE A BLACK GIRL WITH LONG HEALTHY HAIR, DO NOT GO HERE. Worst decision ever. I went in last year needing a simple deep conditioning & blow out and got a nightmare instead.when washing my hair they mixed a chemical in my hair . I knew something was off after they had straightened it, the smell of it was almost unbearable. But after rapping it and using my scarf the next day the smell had faded so I didn’t think too much into it… my hair looked beautiful but at a MAJOR COST! Fast forward maybe 3/4 months later my hair is coming out in clumps, stringy and thin and the breakage is INSANE. I go to a natural hair stylist and she instantly talks about the breakage and how when she washed my hair she can smell the keratin treatment!! Excuse me??? I’ve been coming here for 3 years now. This is the BEST place to get your hair washed! The doobies are great but I’ve never been to a salon that cares so much from scalp to ends 💗

Was desperate for a blowout because we had to take pictures. It has been my worse decision. I read the reviews and I should have followed my gut and stayed away, but I changed my mind because a friend had recommended her as well. (Bummer)!! The bad reviews are true, I need not say more. Even when I asked Doris to confirm that they don’t alter their shampooing process, she dispelled the rumor. Needless to say, my daughters hair turned out beautiful, our family pictures were nice. Fast forward to wash day, till today, 4 months later, her hair is still falling out in clumps. She has patches of hair loss all over her scalp. That placed should be closed down. They lack respect for the community that they are serving and feel they can treat them anyhow without repercussions. I am really

I received a blowout for my birthday, and while the hairstyle looked great, I encountered an issue when I washed my hair to return it to its natural state (which is type 4c). It didn't revert back at all; it remained straight. I thought it might have just been me, so I washed it again, but it stayed the same. Now that a few months have passed since my birthday, I can share my experience. For the first month, my hair resembled type 1a. Then, I wore braids, and now my hair looks more like type 3b, and it has stayed that way for a while. The extreme high heat and chemicals in the products have permanently straightened my hair and changed my curl pattern. Additionally, my hair smelled burnt for two months after my visit.

It was my 1st time in the establishment and it was a great experience. although the staff spoke Spanish. The one lady that took care of me. we understood each other.
