Donan Hair Braiding

This is the only place I go to get my braids done. They are very professional, fast, and friendly and my hair always turns out nice. They also will take out your braids and wash and detangle your hair all for a very good price. I've already recommended them to multiple friends and family who have also had good experiences.

I was very pleased with my experience at Donan's recently! I went in to get large box braids mid-waist length and had wanted to try out a variety of colors for my upcoming birthday. I brought along a photo reference. Two stylists, Nonno and Donna, worked together to do my hair and found the right shades of black, brown and blonde. They did a great job! The appointment took about 4 hours and was easy to schedule as well. Very happy with my hair!

I’ve been coming been coming here since I moved to Bowie. I usually ask for Donna and she does such a beautiful job. She asks how you like to wear your hair and then will braid your hair in a way that suits your lifestyle. She is a very gentle with braiding and combing out hair and washed my hair so thoroughly. Also, I was able to get in for a last minute appointment. This is a really special shop.

I was looking for a new salon and a friend recommended this place. My appointment was at 8:00 am and they started at 8:15 after deciding on the right color. I was done by 12:00 pm. The salon was clean and everyone was kind. Even offered me a donut. The quality of my hair was amazing and the braids lasted a long time. I will be a regular.
