Ron is amazing! He is a true gentleman, and easily provided me the best haircut I’ve ever had— I’ve never left the salon so happy. Other places have charged me before for my ‘long hair’ but his prices are economical. He fit me in day of and met me at the salon where I was totally pampered! Super flexible, used great products, and was totally charming. I will definitely visit again and recommend!!!

Highly recommend Ron Oliverio Salon! I first visited this salon when I was still a student. Ron offered student discount and I had the best haircut I had in Pittsburgh! Ron is very professional and will take your thoughts into consideration. I always know what kind of haircut I want so as long as I show Ron my desired style, I’ll have a haircut that I love and suites me well! I kept coming back for a haircut even now it’s more than 30 mins drive distance to me.

Got a walk-in manicure done by Ron that was inexpensive ($20), high quality, and quick. Ron was kind and made great conversation as he explained his process behind shaping, filing, and buffing my nails. He was very attentive to detail and receptive to feedback. Note that he doesn't offer acrylic or gel nails and that his salon is in the basement of the King James apartment, so call his number if you would like to get access through the lobby.

I chose Oliverio Salon because it was one of the few places conveniently open on a Monday, but I didn’t know that I was about to get the best haircut of my life (literally). Ron knew exactly how to cut my hair and do highlights to get the look I wanted. And he showed me how to keep it looking great. My hair has always been unmanageable and frizzy, but now it’s so easy to take care of. The curls are soft and my hair looks beautiful, hip, and effortless. Ron’s knowledge about hair and style is extraordinary, but he wears his knowledge lightly. He’s very caring, thoughtful, and kind. I’ve been back there since and, again, love the results. Had a smooth experience. It was easy to get an appointment at short notice. Ron took care of understanding my requirements and carefully and patiently did the haircut and eyebrows. I was happy with the results and would definitely recommend this place.
