Dominion African Hair Braids/braiding

I started going to Dominion African Hair Braiding in 2023, the owner and her staff have always been effecient, fast, and very accommodating. I wear my braids beyond three months, and I have no complaints. The prices are also very reasonable.

I loved my experience. It was my first time, and I will definitely be going back. The service was fast, efficient, and very detail-oriented. My hair looks so beautiful.

This braiding experience was a little different for me but I’m new to the area so I have to get a feel for stylist I requested jumbo box braids with curl which is what I received but after the style my hair was tendered for several days and I have this white residue all over my scalp from braiding gel which I am afraid to wash out because I don’t want to mess the style up I do have natural hair and I feel like washing it out will leave my hair frizzy and dry as well as giving a fresh set of braids a bad look. I am also unsure why I paid 130 for a set of jumbo box braids.

Worst braiding experience of my entire life - 0/10 would not recommend. Was quoted $240 for smedium waist length braids, paid $260 for small waist length braids that I didn’t ask for. Sat in excruciating pain for 9 hours when I was quoted 5 1/2. I’m not tender headed and I cried at one point. I told her, “I don’t care if it’s not tight, you’re hurting me and you need to be gentle.” She absolutely was not gentle. She braided my hair so tightly that I’m leaving this review 4 days later and the pain is just now subsiding. I will say that she asked if I wanted her to stop - but what was I suppose to do, leave with my hair half braided??? They eat while braiding hair. They talk about you while you’re sitting right underneath them. They have two separate people braiding hair at once, which is
