Dominion African Hair Braiding

I had such a great experience at Dominion African Hair Braiding. Saw them on TikTok and decided to check them out. The stylist was very professional, patient, and welcoming. My braids were done neatly with so much care, and the parts were super clean. The atmosphere was comfortable, and my hair still looks amazing days later. I will definitely be coming back and recommending to others

Brought my daughter here for her first ever professionally done boho braids. The ladies are kind and professional. The environment is welcoming. Felt like I come here all the time. The quality of work done by embi is amazing. You can see the care and quality of her work. Also, if you come and she has her baby please be patient and kind. She is truly a sweetheart and her work is worth the time. I will be taking my daughter to her every time. And if you want human hair you have to bring it.

This is my candid review, I have been there and it has ever been a wonderful and awesome experiences, the braiders are top-notch, the supervisor is fantastic and above all their job is second to non. If you really want African braiding don't hesitate to go there.

There are two shops.. I was not pleased with the customer service at the shop located on Jamaica Ave. The manager was very aggressive and unnecessarily rude. I left and unknowingly walked into a sister shop on 160th street next to raising canes and was greeted by FRANCIA who was welcoming, attentive and had a sweet spirit..I realized the shops were related but she made me feel so comfortable I decided to give her a shot and I am so satisfied that I did. She never once entertained anything else beside my hair (lord knows some of them love to be on the phone or gossiping). She was god sent and has secured a future client. Thank you for being you. Professional & polite! And that girl can braid or Twist her behind off!

Very nice and quick service. The place is big and nice. They also wash hair for additional $20. But worth it!!
