Dominican Hair Studio is truly amazing! The ladies there are so kind and welcoming. I’ve been going through a deep depression and hadn’t been taking care of my hair for a while, but the two stylist took their time, detangled everything, and made me feel beautiful again—just in time for my 27th birthday. I’m so grateful for the care and love they put into my hair. I’ll definitely be coming back, Thank you so much for helping me feel like myself again! Update: loved my last visit—my hair lasted a whole month before it curled back up! I’m excited to come back please tell me how I can book a Saturday morning appointment. Her service & prices are top tier 👌🏾 she doesn't put any chemicals in her products! At all ! You have to requst it & even then she'll talk you out of it. I've been getting my hair done at this studio since middle school! I am now 30 you do the math. She has saved my hair time & time again because I want to experiment 🤣 she gets on me every time. However every time I leave her chair my hair is sliky smooth roots laid ! My hair is 4c 100% natural afro style & She whips my hair into shape like a bad child in school. Hair silky & smooth for weeks as long I wrap it up. which I dont all the time well most of the time & my hair stays stright ! If she charges yu $6

The reason why I'm giving her a 2 is because she lie to me about that "there a law in North Carolina that she can't recieve me with my hair wash that this is not NY that work crazy". So I told her to give me one wash then but something in me told me that what she said it wasn't true, so i google it and my feeling was right is not true what she said. I also call my friend that she has be living in charlotte for 20 years , and she told me the samething that is not true. One thing I hate is for people to lie to me and try to tske me as if I'm stupid so i just got up and left, Idk what she was planning to do to my hair but ladies do your research what kind of product she using.

This is my favorite salon!!! I got my hair done here for my wedding ! In the hot summer of June 2022 and sincerely they did such an amazing job, my hair stayed good all day ! I also got extensions ! And everyone loved my hair including me . I have gone to other salons previously and sincerely they are not worth the money . Every time I go to Charlotte I come here ! Because they always take care of my hair. They are super professional and always take care of there clients. I posted two photos so u guys can see what my hair looks like naturally ! Definitely worth ever penny

My first time was June 7, 2025. Thank you so much Carmen for taking me at the last minute. You have a beautiful spirit, and I love my hair. The ladies here are wonderful very caring, and professional. The shop is very clean. I'm happy that I found this salon, and I will definitely be back.
