Angie was very friendly and my hair looked beautiful when I left the salon. Unfortunately, after washing my hair, my natural curl pattern was significantly damaged. I have kinky curly, textured hair, and the curls are now stringy and limp in areas, which was not the case before my appointment. I’m not sure if the damage was caused by excessive heat or the products used, but this experience has impacted the health of my hair. I think clients with natural textured hair would benefit from a clear disclaimer about the risks of heat damage with Dominican blowouts and a discussion around heat settings and curl preservation before the service.
