The owner and hair stylist are amazing and helpful. And work fast

The place is clean and the service was good but they have no concern about Covid. I felt unsafe the whole time I was there as I was the only person wearing a mask. The hair stylist had no mask on and when I asked about why they wore no mask she put one on to cover her chin. The customers are allowed to be maskless too. This is not the way the way to do business in the middle of a pandemic. I usually don't take the time to write a review but this one was written before I left the place.

Great personnel, the owner she understands my need help me to Reach the color and the style need it. I went to another salon day before the mess up my hair. So bad they were able to fix thank you. So much.

This place is GREAT. They carry a variety of hair products and care supplies. In the back there is a salon. Ask for Chica, she does a great job. I needed to trim my ends. She trimmed my hair, washed, dried and did a blow out. Then she flat ironed it to perfection. I have very long curly hair, when Chica was finished with me you could not tell that I am a curly girl. She left my hair silky smooth with incredible shine. She was friendly and professional. She tamed my super curly hair without damaging it.

Do not get your hair blown here. Maria is rude and does not do a good job. I went in for a simple blow dry and had to get my hair re-done the very next day by a more experienced Dominican salon. My suggestion is to call Gems Style salon and get more bang for your buck.
