Dollar General

Great variety of merchandise. Everything is 1 dollar. They are starting to get Christmas decorations in, but they have a huge selection of Halloween decor right now. A great inexpensive place for crafters to find what they need.

Eh, not the worst but definitely not the best.

Staff is great, I live a block a way so I’m here all the time. Which is how I know the AC at this store has been broken for months even though we’re in the middle of a heat advisory. Clearly Dollar General doesn’t care about their employees health and safety, but maybe the higher up who reads this will care that their candy display is full of melted candy bars because it’s so hot in this store, because I’m sure they care about products more than their employees.

The employees are great, always friendly and try to help the best they can. The store seems to always be out of certain things repeatedly (I think that maybe closer attention to inventory should be paid). The only other complaint I have about this store is that a lot of things are either put back in the wrong place by customers or just stocked in the wrong place to the point that I usually have to go to the front for a price check at least once per visit. Other than that, I cannot stress how friendly and helpful the employees have been with me and my daughter, this store has an entire aisle(well technically half-aisle) of $1 items that always have some good finds. Also a good place to get deals on pet food and first aid supplies.

They lock the door so customers can’t come in. Ratchets work here. Don’t go here. Update 7/2/2023: Went to this DG again today. Me and another customer waited in line at an unattended register. I walked out to my car because I forgot my wallet. Came back in and the register was still vacant. Finally, a lady came from the back of the store to help and she was not in any mood to work. This place needs better employees. There’s a whole community that gives this store business and we get horrible service in return.
