Great guys, friendly and skillful in having your haircut. Their starting haircut price ( $50) is above many other barbershops in the bay area and Walnut Creek. Also, they didn’t have posted rates when I got there .
While I didn't get any services done, my friend did. We were traveling and her undercut needed a quick fix to tidy the edges. It was late, and we were in the area for dinner and hoping for a walk-in. We walked around and visited a few places that were still open. Some larger salons at first, which all turned us away. With a close undercut, we knew a barber would be the best fix for it. We walked into Dogpatch a bit late, about 30 minutes before closing. Ben did a great job with my friend's hair, and he and Reesa were so welcoming to our group and we had some great conversation. While we waited, I thoroughly enjoyed watching Reesa finish some braids on a client. Also, the shop itself is a really cool spot. Gotta say. Definitely come check these folks out if you are in the area! Very hospi
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Chris' new barbershop, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. Chris, who comes highly recommended by a good friend, has truly established a strong reputation in San Francisco and I was thrilled to learn he was opening a shop in Walnut Creek. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Chris took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and delivered a haircut that exceed all expectations. His precision and skill are unmatched, and it's clear that he is passionate about what he does. His attention to detail and dedication to his craft are evident in every aspect of his work. I highly recommend Chris to anyone in need of a top-notch barber. Whether you're looking for a classic style or something more
Booked an appointment with Efrain on July 16 @7pm via Booksy. I showed up at the shop but there was nobody inside and the door was locked. Tried calling the shop but it went straight to voicemail. EDIT: After submitting my review, Chris (the owner of Dogpatch) immediately reached out to me stating that he could cut my hair. It was about 8:30pm and I returned to the shop to have him cut my hair. His professionalism is on point and we had a great conversation. I appreciate that although he had a long day at his main shop in San Francisco - he was willing to cut my hair. This definitely won’t be my last time here. Thank you very much Chris for giving me the cleanest cut I’ve ever had.
This comment is purely experience-based not a reflection of any of the barbers’ skills: I’m new to the area so I wanted to check out any good barbershops. My hair is insane and have a job interview coming up. I called to ask if I can do a walk-in which they said yes to come in and ask for Nick or Jacob. Upon walking in, there was no way to check in. Two barbers in sesh. One had just finished and sweeping the floor. Usually at least where I’ve been to, one person would look up to check customers in and ask who they’re here for. None of that here. No greeting. Loud music and very tight space. I stood there for a while and was going to continue getting ignored until I came up to one of the barbers who just walked past me as he was sweeping the floor. Didn’t even turn around as I was talking
