Dixon's Barbershop

Dixon is definitely a quality Barber that’s well within the top 3 best Barbers in the town! Dixon’s Barbershop is not your average barbershop. It’s actually a vibe. Great conversation while you wait, a very mature, pleasant, and cheerful environment. The atmosphere is very positive due to the vast variety of local dignitaries, prominent Black leaders, and staples of our community that frequent this Barbers. I highly recommend him so much that I fly from where I’ve relocated, just to get a haircut from Dixon every so often.

Dixon is a great barber. Good with children and very polite. Reasonably priced $10 for a child's cut. He has a high clientele. First come, first served. You can expect a 20 minute to 2 hour wait. Best time to go Thursday 7-7:30pm

I HAVE NEVER WROTE A REVIEW. BUT THIS WAS THE WORST SERVICE THAT I HAVE EVER RECEIVED. I went to this barbershop to get my hair cut. Mind you that I’ve been with my barber for more than 3 years now. But because i had to go to a wedding, I didn’t have time to book an appointment with my barber because he usually booked up almost everyday. So I made an appointment and then went there. The guy that did my hair his name is Rick. He did a terrible job. One side of my hair was cut skin to skin. Another was cut faded and the hair was not cut even. One side was bigger than other. My hairline was all messed up.😭 one side of my hair was burning on fire because he was kept on cutting it skin to skin when I wanted a fade. I tried 4 Barbers in Rochester before I finally found Dixon. He is Master at his craft, the haircuts are always on point, and I never leave the shop disappointed. Prices are the best in town, especially when compared to the other two shops next door, whose quality and services are far inferior.

The best Barber in Rochester N.Y. hands down! If i could id give him 10 stars! Very respectful old school environment. Dixon's barbershop is a classy experience.
