Diva Nails and Spa

I have been going to Diva Nails and having Tina do my nails for over 10 years. Last week she was over the top which was awesome. I called her up for an appointment , she said can I come in at 3:30 I told her I had my grandson who is 1 years old she said that's okay I said are you sure she said yep so I went in there to get my nails done which is usually just a fill. I sat down I had stuff for my grandson to do while he was sitting on my lap I had a small bag of something for him to munch on and his cup with something to drink Tina started doing my nails. She started doing one hand at a time rather than doing both hands at the same time even though by the end of the service I had goldfish all over her floor my grandson started getting a little on the fussy side cuz he wanted to walk around

Kim was very detailed with a deluxe Volcano Spa and introduced me to a beautiful color and technique called “Cat’s Eye”. My toes look so pretty here in FL after being cooped up in cold Michigan!

Tina is great and so is Kenny. I'm very picky about the shape of my nails but he does them perfectly! And those puppies stay on!

Avoid. The salon is dirty with old towels covered in stains. The employees do not care about your comfort or experience. I had nail polish all over my skin. Technician scraped it off with her nails instead of using acetone and a brush to remove. They did my manicure while my pedicure was being completed by pulling my arms and twisting me in uncomfortable positions. I showed the technician where there was nail polish on the pads of my fingers. The gel light machine was so dirty with misc polish from others, that it stuck to your fingers if you rested your hand inside. A male technician loudly played a video on his phone sitting in a chair next to me, drowning out the relaxing music, while waiting for his next customer. Fast service almost can’t relax tho while getting a pedi bc they do your nails at the same time, Reaching across yourself. I will say they’re “friendly” when you walk in. But then…. As soon as you don’t like something the conversation gets very everyone (workers) talks, and looking at you, your nails and toes, tattoos on your body are commented on but then talking continuously about the “compliment “. I don’t even speak your language but I hear you, Speaking to everyone about your customers but not to your customers is crazy to me. Today didn’t feel like a spa day that’s for sure. I won’t be back unfortunately.
