Dion Gama Hair Braiding

Do not go here‼️ I went on a Weds to get my hair braided for a retreat that Friday by Saturday night my hair was falling out in the back. I asked how much will my hair be. They said $120 , it will be more if I wanted length, I said no I'm too old. I get there show them pictures of side corn roll braids (lemonade braids) she asked about the length I repeated the fact that I did not want it long. My hair gets braided I'm trying to figure out why it's still taking so long, she added extra hair, my hair was down to my knees when I stood up. I'm 5'3‼️ She had a nerve to say $180...being nice I still tipped her.... I wake up this morning to another braid missing. At this point I get pissed and start taking my hair out. Recently went again and compared to previous years I’ve been there I’ve noticed a huge change in the work dynamic. I think all the workers right now have a great chemistry and they were extremely professional when I went! i got bohemian knotless + they supplied the hair including the human hair curls. I loved my hair and it was done quick and as a tender headed girl the best part was that my hair wasn’t on fire by the time they finished! Highly highly highly highly recommend!!!

I come to the shop to get my hair braided. I never had a bad experience far as my hair getting done. I walk out of there without my head hurting and that’s a good thing cause most shops when you leave and your head is hurting because they braided so tightly or they pulling your scalp. My braids always last long time. What I don’t like about The workers is they always late. When you call For an appointment the day before Dion says OK you can come in at that time. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS SHOP!!! The worst braiding experience ever. I have been going to this salon for nine years. I have only dealt with the owner. The owner must be in Africa, now. The salon is filthy. The stylist are loud & rude. Watch your bag because they will over charge. All four ladies cross talk in their native tongue loudly over the customer’s head. Roaches and flies everywhere. There is no hand soap or toilet paper in the bathroom. Looks like the floor hasn’t been swept or mopped in a year. Be aware if you show a picture of the style you would like, you won’t get the style. Yes, your braids may be neat but it will not be the style you requested. If you tell the brained that she is braiding tight, they will start speaking in their native tongue- saying rude things about you an

Horrible experience and I will NEVER go back. The women spit Into her hand and wiped her hands in my hair as she braiding! When I confronted her she got an attitude with me and called me a liar. Another worker yelled at me and tried to get in my face so I had to leave with only 5 knotless braids in my hair. I've gone to this places multiple times and each time I've had to say something about them washing their hands but this is by far the worse!
