Diaby's African hair braiding

The first time I got my braid done here they were knotless bob length and it was mediocre one side had 7 rows and one side had 6 rows. It was summer and she had one of her daughters on my head so I excused the rows not being even. I recently brought my 4 yrs daughter to get her hair braided for her birthday. I showed her the inspo pic and I think she did whatever she wanted to do. The style should have been half braids in the front and knotless in the back. Instead she did 2 layers of cornrows. I was charged extra for beads but the way her hair was done I don't feel like I should have been charged. My daughter fell asleep and she said that's the reason why her looks uneven. I asked her to fix it and idk what she did but as soon as we got home 2 braids were already out. I was asked to come

I love this shop and business owner Diaby. Quick service and many braiding hair styles, hair textures, and color choices. Walk-ins are welcome anytime. She has good quality hair and reasonable prices as well.

I was worried at first because I needed to get my 3 y/o hair braided and everyone would tell me no. He gets his hair done often and is very tolerable but just young. They did an awesome job on my son’s hair and were very patient. He will be back.

Crochet braids didn’t turn out well. The owner has someone helping like she was training this person. Left a part so wide and the style just was off.

I needed a same day appointment to have my hair braided. My friend referred me to Diaby. She allowed me to come! (Surprise number 1) when I arrived, she consulted with me to see exactly what I desired. Due to the length of my hair, she recommended a different style so that the braids would not slip off. I went with her recommendation, and it turned out amazing. Surprise #2 is that it only took about 3 hours to complete the style! My hair usually takes at least six hours to be completed!
