*** Manny and his team at Details Barbershop are an excellent barbershop with many talented barbers. I’ve been a regular at the Cranston location for years and recently started going to the Johnston location. The Johnston shop itself is very nice inside and the staff is friendly. I’ve had my hair cut several times by Marques, as well as by Chris. While Chris seems to be a cool guy, I strongly DO NOT recommend getting your hair cut by this barber for one main reason. One major concern is sanitation. Chris does not clean or sanitize his clippers between clients. In all my years going to the Cranston location, or anytime I’ve had my hair cut by Marques — I have always seen the barbers take a few minutes to properly sanitize their tools before starting another cut in between client

The Details is Johnston was really good. I used to go there when i was little and they also do me right. I got a cut by Pete and he did a great job 10/10 and I will be coming back. Thanks

The Johnston shop is modern, clean and easily accessible. All the guys here are awesome. Chris has been cutting my hair for over 20 years and is one of the best in RI. Highly professional, meticulous and always goes above and beyond to take care of his clients. Highly recommend him. Thank you!

I have been going to the Details barbershop, and the different shops that held that location in Johnston, for close to twenty years now. Specifically, Chris has been my barber for ~16 years now. He is a great barber and always takes the time to take care of his clients. He is always professional and always has a clean work station. Contrary to other reviews that I noticed, I have always seen Chris take the time to clean and sanitize his equipment before my cuts when he has a client before me and even extra time during if he notices anything else that needs to be addressed. Shoutout to Chris and all the guys over at Details for always being friendly and welcoming to everyone who goes there!
