Design 1 Salon Spa Grandville

Monet V was absolutely phenomenal! This was my second appointment with her—my first being dermaplaning, which was incredible. During that visit, I shared my interest in trying a chemical peel but also my nerves after seeing so many horror stories online. Monet took the time to reassure me, explain the process, and make me feel completely comfortable, which led me to book. Today I had my first chemical peel with her, and it was such a wonderful experience. She walked me through every step and clearly explained what to expect, which made all the difference. The shoulder and neck massage was truly the icing on the cake—I almost fell asleep! I would highly recommend Monet V at the Design One Spa Grandville location.

We were here for a spa day (massages, facials, and pedicures) and left the spa completely and utterly disappointed. First and foremost, the pedicures were amateur at best. For that service to be $81 is absolutely INSANE. The quality of that service would have been expected at a beauty school, not a spa where I’m spending that much money. My massage was extremely disappointing as well. It was scheduled for 80 minutes, and I asked for hot stones in addition. The massage ended up being an hour long and no hot stones were used. The masseuse talked the ENTIRE time and his hands were probably actually massaging me three quarters of the hour. The other massages and facials were fine but not above average. Overall, we had a really horrible experience and none of us will be returning or recommend

Jordyn did an amazing job on my cut and color!!! I am new to town and was anxious about finding a new hair stylist, but Jordyn immediately put my anxieties at ease - right away she was kind, asked helpful questions about my preferences, and had a great attention to detail. The cut and color is EXACTLY what I asked for! Design 1 in general was a positive experience - everyone I encountered was kind, the salon was spacious and clean with good music playing at a good volume, they had a lot of products to choose from, and I was able to enjoy a cup of coffee during my service! I also loved that styling was included at the end of the service (none of my prior hair salons did that except for with added fees!) So happy to have found this new salon, and Jordyn in particular! I’ll be back!!

I recently had the pleasure of working with stylist Nicole. She was AMAZING ! Super efficient and my color looked incredible. Thank you Nicole for getting me and creating a wonderful experience. I highly recommend her due to her dedication and skill. My highlights were placed well and the color looks really good. Thank again girl ❤️

Worse microblading ever, I look like I have an old tatto instead - don't do this here or at least don't let Samantha do your "microblading" she never mapped out the area so I get simetric lines, had no idea what color she should use recomend, it was painful and after healing time 3 weeks I have no strokes, no color, nothings just the red scars of the cuts so I complained and asked the manager to see me - she agreed It was not done rigth and I would get a redo 0 charge but with the same person - how I would put my face under the same person who did a bad job in the first place? I asked for someone else and the manager said only will be a "free redo" if I do it with Samantha - if I pick someone else's I will have to pay in full - it was not free I paid almost $400 the service with 0 result
