Derrick & Darren's Barber Shop

If I can give them 10 stars, I would! I just moved from New York & been struggling to find a professional Barber, One that presents themself with dignity and quality! I was in there jamming to good ole school music the whole time. I looked up this place on google and spoke to the owner Derrick directly over the phone and he asked me my sons name and squeezed me in for the day,( It was Sunday and most Barber shops were closed) so this was very convenient. As I walked in, I was greeted and acknowledged and my son which is 10 and 8 years of age were greeted by name throughout the entire appointment. I noticed while they were in the chair , The Barber, Derrick let them know what he was doing as he was doing it, every step of the way. This made my kids develop trust and they look so comfortab

Had a wonderful experience with the good people at Derrick and Darren’s. Walked in and immediately was greeted with warmth, community, and professionalism. Black owned barbershop, kind folk and my cut was superb. Shout out to D, Day, Ed and the whole team!

The service was incredible. Daysha was my barber and she did a phenomenal job with my haircut (high-top shadow fade, trimming facial hair, and shaping up eyebrows). She made sure that I got the hairstyle that I wanted by asking me for pictures and/or videos of it. She was also easy going and cool to speak with too. She also cut my hair with patience and class. I was very impressed. The other members of the barbershop were friendly too. The barbershop itself was clean and comfortable to walk into too. I look forward to getting my haircuts here again!

It was a very good experience in a chill environment. I was able to a get a fresh cut to my liking and Derrick was a complete professional. Will love to go back in a near future.
