Derby’s Barbershop

I absolutely love all the Barbers here at derby’s. I’m a woman who always keeps a short fade and they make me feel just stunning. Best service. Kind smiles and great atmosphere. I really recommend giving them a try. I haven’t stopped coming back in almost a year now!!! I love Derby’s!!

I appreciate the professionalism here and the lady who did a great job on my son (18 month old first hair cut) but woah I did not expect it to cost $45 😳 But I know now. That’s on me for not looking up prices before showing up to the shop. My husband got his hair cut and fixed up today for a second time here, I believe his cut was $55. Looks real good. 😊

Ask for my girl Maria. She did a great job today. Called made appointment because my barber was closed for the holidays. Let her do her thing turned out great. Highly recommend. You get what you pay for.

Overpriced. Didn't understand what I asked for at all. Had to get my hair fixed elsewhere. They also really messed up my facial hair to the point that I had to shave it and let it grow back out. Atmosphere was cool though. Edit: In response to the owner, I DID express that I didn't like it and the lady that did my hair/beard stared at me blankly. She completely misunderstood what I asked for and botched the job entirely. If you take pride in your work, do better. And no, your rates aren't competitive. The other places I go to cost like $30-40 and do a better job. My claims are accurate. I don't doubt that you usually do a good job, but everyone messes up--and with me, you messed up. Own up to it.

Israel is great!!! Hit him up for your barber services. I don’t get all the hate from other reviews talking about language barrier or expensive. We live in a state with a large Hispanic population. Not everyone is going to be fluent in English and I bet they have many clients are appreciative that they speak Spanish. I know for a fact there are barbers there that are bilingual. If you are having a hard time communicating, just ask for help and I’m sure someone will help translate. As for price, this isn’t Supercuts or sport clips. They aren’t a 10 minute clip and on to the next customer place. They spend time on each client and thus need to charge more for services. Best wishes to the shop for future success.
