De Doris Dominican Salon

Doris is amazing!! She has been doing my hair off and on for about 17 years. (I'm a global business traveler and moved overseas for a couple of years) She uses very little heat, only a hand dryer and a brush to style your hair unlike other Dominican Salons 🇩🇴 and is a master at growing and caring for healthy hair! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a friendly, talented stylist.

Excellent! I went to her for the first time today. Got a wash and roller set. My hair looks great and feels healthy! She doesn’t over burn out your hair with the hot hair dryer like some Dominican salons. The only downside is that she is a little more pricey than other salons.

I was referred to her. She is not good with African American hair. I was completely traumatized sitting in the chair hearing my hair snap & break off from the root. If you have a tighter curl pattern-STAY AWAY! She does not handle your curls with care. I received a "deep condition" only for my hair to not be soft & moisturized,but in fact the complete opposite. After my blow out there was no dusting nor was I asked if I wanted a trim. My roots were straight & the ends of my hair were left a frizzy mess. That's not the worst part...I have now washed my hair & the texture feels completely different. After wearing my hair in protective styles & staying AWAY from chemicals for years. I agree with Dee Alon review. My hair fell out as well after I got a touch-up there back in August of this year. You just don't over process fine hair. I am not a hair stylist, and I know better than that. The 5 Stars review ratings that you see must have been asked upon! Because if I could give a 0 rating I would!
