Ddluxury African Hair Braiding

On June 27, 2025, I took my 13-year-old daughter to DD Luxury African Hair Braiding to have her hair braided. During the service, the stylist poured boiling water on her back in order to seal the ends of the braids. They did not place enough towels to protect her skin, nor did they warn me this procedure involved boiling water. My daughter immediately cried out from the pain. We rushed to the emergency care and she was diagnosed with a third-degree burn., and I have medical records, photos, and video documenting the injury.The salon did not explain what happened and did not take responsibility A coworker of mine also informed me that a similar incident happened to her friend’s daughter at the same salon, showing a pattern of unsafe behavior

Last minute appointment, but DD fit me in and had my head done in less than 3 hours. These were knotless braids, very neat, very professional, and had two people working in my head. Such good company and has a beauty supply store attached for any hair products

I was elated when I found a place to get braids here in Midland, Texas!!!! I’m here on business for 3 months, and summer is approaching, flights, working out, and the wind here prompted me to get a protective style. LOVED IT!! Took about 1 hour. That’s fantastic!!! I’ll definitely come back.

Denise is usually my go to get some quick corn rolls or box plaits. This time I wanted the knottless braids with the curly. The hair I bought from her store for $75 and the hair did not curl. The same hair I got from her store I could have gotten off amazon for $50. The braids are full but the bundle hair has been falling out eveytime I tried to style the hair HAIR EVERYWHERE and its not suppose to be like that. I paid over $300 and it was not worth it. Too many people standing around talking eating or on the phone. I am very disappointed. When I called Denise to complain about my hair she did not have a care in the world.
