DD Nails & Spa

I hate to leave a negative review like this but after spending a total of $135 as a college student with a part time job I had to warn others of my experience. After reading several reviews left by other unsatisfied customers it became clear that DD nails will never accept responsibility for their mistakes nor admit when they are wrong. Apparently they are the only company in history to be perfect in every way and the customer is always wrong. On 2/16/25 I paid $90 to have my nails done by Ty (the owner) for my birthday. This included builder gel, charms, designs and took about an hour and half, which was quicker than normal. I felt generous and happy to have my birthday nails and they “looked” great so I tipped $30 (regrettably). A day later I had 2 nails popping off and 5 nails that

My reply to owner response: Your polishes are likely so old they don’t dry thus they smudged after waiting 40 minutes and over an hour for both polishes to dry and they didn’t. Thus the review. Your response to me shows exactly what kind of an owner you are. Customer is always right. Have a look at your reviews generally and think about what other customers are saying. Might be worth you taking up customer service classes. Spa pedi perfectly good. And I’ve had decent treatments in the past. But do many good technicians have left. And their nail polishes are ancient. I had to go back for re polish of my toes after sitting for 40 minutes doing admin while I waited to dry. Went back the next day and she fixed toes. I drove up north with my flip flops on and woke this morning smudged AGAIN.

Went to this nail salon less than a week ago for a hard gel set; 2 nails have already broken off completely, 4 have lifted edges, there are bubbles in the gel, the nails are not even and they are incredibly thick. The girl who did my manicure was very nice but clearly new. Never had a worse manicure in my entire life. In addition she cut my cuticles with the grinder tool making them bleed. The owner is rude and staff is unfriendly. The salon was empty on a Saturday which should have been warning enough. I will never be going here again after this experience.

Definitely not what I expect for a $40 gel manicure. All of my cuticles are painted, the edges of my nails are rough, and there is debris/bubbles on several nails under the gel. My manicurist was very nice and definitely newer, but I’m not thrilled with my honeymoon nails.

Very clean and professional atmosphere! All the nail techs are great and Tai always does an amazing job! I highly recommend going to that location!
