DC NAILS

I’ve been here a couple of times but I don’t think I’ll be back after my experience. The salon itself has always been clean and staff is very friendly! I got a pedicure and full set today by a gentleman, and it fell far below my expectations. The best part about the pedicure was the massage chair, I really just paid for that and for him to put gel polish on my toenails. I also noticed after my pedicure started that everyone else had a blue liner on their tub but mine did not which seemed unsanitary. Everything about my appointment felt sloppy. Unfortunately, I asked for a full set, French tip and the nail’s themselves are lumpy and messy. I was so ready to leave that I just paid and left. It just felt like a waste of time/money. I have been coming to this salon for several years and they never disappoint. Jen was able to give me the exact spooky design I wanted today. Her attention to detail, especially the with the spider web, was amazing. All the techs here do amazing work. This is my second review, DC nails never disappoints! This will always be my salon!

I went to Julie almost 4 years ago now and have not switched up since. She is the best. She takes the time to make sure you are satisfied every single time! She always makes sure you are comfortable. Go see Julie:)

I've been 3 times and keep going back because the easy online booking and cheap price balances the issues for me. The first visit was for a gel pedicure, which went well. The second, I got a gel pedicure and an ombre dip manicure and a chrome finish: chrome finish chipped in 2 days like I'd gotten regular polish instead of dip and they had to repair it, removing the chrome. The 3rd visit, I learned it really hurts when they allow the tool that sands off the dip to get your finger too hot when it happened on two nails. It came out well and cost was $50 flat. As many places do, they dip your finger in the dip containers off the shelf instead of pouring it over the nails: please note that this can lead to serious infection if a previous guest had any kind of fungal or bacterial issue that got

This is my second home. Every artist is efficient, kind, and a perfectionist. The salon itself is warm, comforting, and inviting. It is luckily located next to a coffee shop so I can either enjoy a sweet treat or at the very least smell the strong coffee while being pampered by amazing people! 🥰
