I will never go here ever again in my life . First of all the gel pedicure doesn’t even last that long. Secondly ,the lady was very aggressive & rude to me , she tried to argue with me about how much tip I should leave her saying last time I only left her $3.00. I don’t even know how she remembered that since it’s been so long since I went there I was shocked so I guess shes clocking people’s tips! A tip should be your preference if you were satisfied or not So she asked for $7.00 I told her $5.00 is all I have left it on the counter she snatched it and walked away and said something to her co worker. So I went there this past weekend & was very annoyed with the workers. A guy on the right side of the establishment offered to do my nails while I was waitin on the owner (Judy) to do my nails. He did not want to take the acrylic off my nails with a (metro) card, so while tellin me to go wait for Judy him & lady next to him began to laugh & speak in their language. When I made a request to the owner for my pinky, the 2 ladies next to her began laughing & speakin in their language as Judy tells me I can’t do that. Instead of askin about a tip, they should be more concerned about keepin customers #Rethinkinggoingback

1 week later!! 2 nails popped off after spending $100 at this establishment what a joke and I also felt pressured to tip the lady who did a horrible pedicure, as I was waiting almost 30 mins for my nails to get done I noticed calluses still present and I told her about and she said it was lotion like huh??? We both knew it wasn't smh NEVER AGAIN!!

I've been going to D C nails for awhile now and am usually satisfied. Some of the workers are really nice and professional. I had acrylic and gel manicure done with the owner who was quite rude. Apparently my fingers didn't flex the way she wanted so she gave me crazy stares and kept telling me to relax. It's hard to relax when you're being told that your fingers aren't flexible. Some people may have arthritis or nerve damage so she should calm down an RELAX herself. It's strange how none of the other people who did my nails never complained. I don't need to be treated disrespectfully when I'm paying a ton of money to have my nails done and I tip very generously..haha except for today..too bad

Horrible. Been going there since I was a teenager because they were the most affordable, but they are always rude. Now that I’m older I choose to pay a little more for better service. However, today I was nearby and decided to give this place another shot. When the guy was taking my tips off he was hurting me, one of my nails ripped off so short, and he cut almost every finger on my left hand while filing. Once I noticed I was bleeding from one of my cuticles I got up and left. They never offered to fix it for free or at the very least apologize and not make me pay for the removal of my tips. I still had to pay $5 for the terrible job he did for taking off my nails and they could care less that I had a bad experience. This is not my first bad experience there, but it will definitely be my
