We have been coming to Rob since my son was 5 years old. Rob is the best, it is not only a monthly haircut, it is a weekly therapy session! Rob has kids that went through the GP schools and is a wealth of knowledge and is an amazing listener. He gives great advice and has some of the best “dad” jokes around. I see this as paid therapy with a free haircut!

Very cozy and comfortable atmosphere. I love this place, it reminds me of my grandfather's barber shop when I was a kid. I know Dave, and his son Rob, they are very down to earth. This salon is a piece of history.

Rob and John are two excellent barbers. Definitely the feel of an old school barber shop when you go in. Stories are abundant, occasionally a few opinions discussed amongst clients and the barbers, but always good general discourse to go along with your wait and needed hair trim. Walk ins *can* happen infrequently, but call and make appointments ahead of time to be safe. Although Rob and John do their best to get everyone in as much as they possibly can. I enjoy them, and I think you will, too.

Grosse Pointe can be tricky with retail and service businesses. It's not Troy with a shop on every corner. Getting my hair cut at Dave's is always a fun experience. The barbers run on schedule, charge a reasonable price, and do solid work. Plus, the conversation is always lively, and they make their patrons feel welcome. If you live in the area, this is the place to go. You can call a couple days ahead and make an appointment, especially if you are a regular customer. They will get it done.

The best barber shop in the Pointes. Rob and John do a great job. I have been going there since 1973.
