I’ve been getting haircuts for 34 years, and I can confidently say Deon Hickey is the best barber I’ve ever had. From the moment you sit in his chair, the professionalism, attention to detail, and pride in his craft are obvious. He doesn’t rush, he listens, and he delivers every single time. What really stands out is how highly Deon speaks of the owner, Danny you can tell this shop is built on respect, solid culture, and real passion for the work. Deon represents Danny’s Barbershop at the highest level. If you’re looking for a barber who actually cares about how you walk out the door and takes his time to get it right, Deon is that guy. Hands down the best experience I’ve ever had in a barbershop. Danny’s Barbershop is lucky to have him, and I won’t be letting anyone else touch my hair. 💯🔥

Danny's is a great barbershop! I relocated back home to Austin a year ago and went through a few barbers till I found this shop. Danny gives a great haircut and beard trim every time! The shop is always friendly and they have a pool table and shuffleboard setup also. Junior filled in once for me when Danny was on vacation and he is also on point! Give this shop a try, they have never let me down.

We’ve dealt with about three barbers there since my kids were very young and loved the service. Unfortunately now 10 years later we will no longer take our kids there since one of the barbers rejected my kid from getting his haircut after he did his quite a few times before. The 1-star goes for the rudeness of this guy. I approached him and asked what the issue was and he said my kid last time didn’t pay for full haircut just side cut, which is something he should’ve complained to me by calling the number I booked from online. He’s a kid I’m the parent and I could’ve easily paid the difference. I guess he just didn’t want to mess with my kids hair anymore and don’t care for our business. I even apologized for inconveniencing him BUT this could’ve easily been handled even Today by paying th

My first experience here was mixed. I was initially seated with Johnny, who seemed rushed and barely trimmed my hair despite my request for a shorter, thinned-out cut. Thankfully, the front desk staff was very kind and quickly set me up with another barber, “Pops,” who did an excellent job and completely turned the experience around. I left satisfied with the correction, and my rating goes from 2 to 4 stars. I’ll definitely be returning because of him.

Danny’s Barber Shop is one of a kind. Friendly service and an excellent haircut. Been taking my son there for years. I would recommend this place to all my friends and family for top notch service.
