Dani Tanner at The Fortress

Dani has been doing my hair for YEARS and I've driven an hour or more each way for her amazing care! I get at least a half dozen comments each week about my hair and the skill of my stylist.

Dani literally gives me the best haircut ever, every time. I have short hair that we are always doing subtle differences to. She is incredibly precise and listens so well. Thanks Dani, for making a girl feel her best.

Dani has been absolutely slaying it on my hair for years. She knows what I want even before I do most days and does a fantastic job of turning my inspo pics into hairstyles that work for me and last well during the growing periods between appointments because she Understands Hair! Her space is quirky, inviting and affirming for LGBTQ+ folks and I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Dani is exceptionally talented with a very diverse clientele. She is able to make my hair exactly right, whether I choose it to be curly or straight. She has an edge and an intuition that are so developed that I always am able to give her the freedom to do what she thinks is best and it turns out incredible every time. It makes the experience relaxing and fun. Her eye for detail and precision are unmatched in my experience around Syracuse and beyond. I get compliments on my hair, but I can’t take credit, except that I made the best decision to have Dani. She also volunteers her time and does hair for those less fortunate! She is truly a gem of a person and I love her!
