Dalila's Dominican hair salon

I’ve been a loyal customer at Dailia’s Dominican Hair Shop for over 3 years. The $75 service always includes a wash, roller set, blow dry, and trim—I know because with my usual tip, the total comes to $90. Today, I arrived already washed and blow dried, only needing a blowout and trim, but was still charged $75. When I asked why the price didn’t change, Dailia went back and forth with the stylist and then stormed off instead of addressing my concern. As the owner, that’s unprofessional. Prices should be consistent and customers should be treated with respect. I won’t be returning.

There is parking in the back behind the buildings. I love this shop. I am a truck driver and so I can't always make appointments, ive lost deposits before behind the nature of my job, so I like this place offered walk-ins. I did a walk in shortly after they opened in Sunday. The blonde woman greeted me immediately [so sorry I forgot her name], asked me what I was interested in and they had me in the shampoo bow in just a few moments. The lady who shampooed my hair was very patient with my 3c4a curly hair. It was very tangled. But i had deep conditioned it the night before but it was still tangled. She needed to shampoo it a few times because I had dyed my hair the day before and still had a bit of hair dye residue on the scalp. She scrubbed it off without being too forceful and that head

Gracias Dalila!! We’ve always drove by this hair salon and we finally decided to stop by today for a haircut. My sister has very dense, thick curly hair and needed a haircut. We were immediately greeted with a smile and were attended quickly. She loved how her hair turned out!! Dalila was very kind and gave us great tips on how to manage and take better care of her hair at home!! My sister’s hair looked so beautiful, lively and hydrated! First time going yesterday. I told one of the lady’s (assume she was the owner by her demeanor and conversation) I wanted a wash and style. I have naturally loose curly /wavy hair (fine textured) and had it in a bun. As I was taking it down from the band that was wrapped around the bun and my hair got caught and I made a comment about it will take me a moment to get the tangled part out, she asked “do you wear braids?” I told her no. Not sure why on earth she asked that. Fun fact, not all black people wear braids. The woman who washed my hair almost took all of my hair out while trying to comb through my hair with shampoo in it.
