I booked an appointment with Andy after seeing positive reviews about his work with children, but the experience was highly disappointing. Despite having a scheduled time, I was told upon arrival that there was someone ahead of me. I waited for over 45 minutes, only to realize the person in the chair was just a friend of his. The two of them spent the entire time giggling and talking so inappropriately that I actually felt the need to take my son out of the building. To make matters worse, once that client finally finished, another man walked in and sat right in the chair ahead of us while Andy continued the same behavior. Seeing a professional constantly giggling and snickering with his friends while a paying customer sits and waits with a child is beyond unprofessional. It felt more like

I highly recommend Dafoe’s Barbershop. I have been a patron of this shop for quite a few years now and every time I walk in there the feeling and atmosphere is welcoming and exciting. Every barber from the owner to the newest additions to the team give a quality cut and are highly attentive to the customers wants and needs for a specific style. They have a very easy to use online booking system and if that’s not your thing you can call or walk in. It’s also a family friendly shop where you can feel comfortable bringing your kids to and not have to worry about what’s playing on the stereo or what’s on the tv. My husband just came home from having his beard trimmed by Sleven and it looks horrible!! It is so uneven, it looks like a 5 year old did it! Very disappointing, Won’t be returning, live and learn!!

Been going to Dafoe's for about 18 months now. Nico is my go-to barber. Incredible attention to detail, knows his craft and we have a good laugh. Highly recommend, a proper barbershop.

I just want to say thank you to Andy for being so patient with my 2 year old. He is not a fan of haircuts but he was so patient with him, talked to him and took his time to make sure he was comfortable. He also did a phenomenal job. I highly recommend!
