Dafenny's Dominican Style Hair Salon

I visited Dafney's after searching for someone who can do natural hair in my area and I have to say I haven't been dissapointed. Dafney is exceptional, she's passionate about what she does and it shows in her quality of work. She will take her time to do your hair and if something needs fixing you don't have to ask because she's already on it and will dedicate her time to make sure you're happy with the end result. My hair has never looked better and healthier. I've already visited her salon twice in the past 2 months, and I intend to keep coming back. Her staff is friendly, professional and her services are one of a kind. I'm beyond thrilled to have found her and have already recommended her to family & friends.

I am still quite amazed! My hair feels so different, incredibly soft, light, and lovely! The shampoo was wonderful from the beginning, and I certainly felt relaxed with a clarified scalp! I have finally discovered a place I can trust with my hair! Thank you, dafenny, once again for your excellent customer service and assistance in starting my healthy hair journey.

I returned to Dafenny Hair Salon today after being away since the pandemic due to work obligations, and I am so glad I came back. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and genuinely cared for—just like the old days. The team was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and attentive, and they took amazing care of my thick, curly-coily black hair. It’s such a relief to know my hair is in good hands again. I’m grateful we were able to reconnect and I’m already looking forward to my next appointment in two weeks. Highly recommend!

I got a relaxer and Dafenny’s Assistant under relaxed my hair it’s like the relaxer has been in for two months. The roots are not relaxed when I mention it to Daffney she got very offended. Couldn’t take constructive criticism when the young lady performed the Relaxer she didn’t work it in some parts of my hair are straight and the root some parts are real curly. Avoid this place at all cause. I found the complaint with Board of cosmetology just got the results back and they are not even licensed. The business is not license, Daffney is not license and the young lady that relaxed my hair is not license. This is a lawsuit.

Asked for a trim and received a haircut to say I am upset is an understatement. When I mentioned it to Daphne she get upset as if she can’t take constructive criticism or listen to a client. I have before and after photos and there was at least 3 inches of my hair that was cut.She only offered me a deep condition, as if that would help rectify the situation.
