DA BARBAS' LAB BARBERSHOP

I rarely give one star reviews, but unfortunately I have to make an exception for DA BARBAS’ LAB BARBERSHOP. Please update the business hours. Few things are more frustrating than landing at the Atlanta airport, rushing to your hotel, and then hurrying to get an Uber across town to make it to a barbershop you believe is open until 9pm, only to show up and find the place completely closed. It’s not just disappointing, it’s a complete waste of time and money. Maybe the barbers are good here, maybe not. I guess I’ll never know.

First time ever posting for a barbershop however, I gave these guys a try recently and it was by far the worse cut I have ever had in my life. Not sure if the barber was fresh out of school but he gave me a bald fade on one side and a temp fade on the other. Facial hair was also done sloppy. Machine was in poor condition as it left my face with nicks. Shape up was even worse than the haircut I got at basic training many years ago. I embarrassingly had to go buy a hat after noticing the piss poor job this guy did (3rd seat on the left). Wouldn’t recommend this spot to anyone who trying to atleast get a basic cut muchless look clean and professional.

I TRY to support “Black Owned Business” but I’m constantly proved time and time again why I do not. I come to this shop for the FIRST TIME because their sign says they close at 10: I go in and sit down WAITING and not ONE single Barber asked if needed assistance. No one even spoke when I walked through the door. Each barber let me sit in the waiting chair only for me to FINALLY ask if they had anyone else to cut to say they were done for the day… It’s 8pm . If the shop does not close at 10pm like advertised on the door upon entry then someone needs to update that. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and I won’t ever attempt to get a cut or recommend anyone to get a cut at this place. They want our BLACK Dollar but don’t want to give you GOOD SERVICE…

There’s nothing but experienced barbers in this shop including me with over 23 years exyas a master barber. My name is Miguel and I’m at your service Tuesday-Saturday 12pm-8pm.

Great experience!! The gentlemen barber took good care of my son and did a great job on his haircut!!
