Day 2 without my diabetes meds. Numbers looking bad. I have health insurance. I have money to pay. But it's not cost effective to stock my medication. This is not the first time that this has happened. The man with the tattoos at the pharmacy did not even tell me when my medicine might be in stock. Just looked me in the eyes and told me I wasn't going to get it before walking away. It is not a controlled substance. I am not on any assistance. I have money to pay. Cash if they need it, but here I am sitting at home and worrying if I'll have a stroke before its cost effective for them to help me. EDIT: I contacted the email, and they have now ghosted me on an explanation as to why I did not receive an update on my medication before the end of the year and before the price increase. Extremely suspicious, avoid this place at all costs. Towards the end of the year, I came in to grab my medication but they said they couldn’t give it to me due to a power outage. The said they’d call / text me when it was ready again. No one contacted me. Apparently it was shelved, then taken off without my knowledge. Had to wait even longer, into the new year, only to find out I had to pay $200 when I originally paid $25 due to something with my insurance deductible changing in the new year (something that COULD HAVE BEEN PREVENTED IF THEY CONTACTED ME). Terrible pharmacy, outrageous that they run out of basic meds when I pay 150 a month for a CVS Caremark card. Staff seems clueless and overworked, people you deal with on the phone are rude. Need to fire everyone and find some new folks that actually care.

I used to love this pharmacy - in no small part because the people are friendly and it’s efficient - but I loved it in comparison to the Brentwood Giant Eagle which has the worst customer service. Lately, however, the customer service here is severely lacking. I had two interactions that could have been easily resolved if the employees interacting with me had better training. As you can see from my profile, I have a challenging last name - two words, starting with the Gill part. Every time they ask for my last name upon pick up of a prescription or before receiving a vaccination, I am cut off when I explain that Gill isn’t my full last name. I’ve been given no explanation of this until today when an employee explained she only needed the first 3 letters of my last name! If they were traine
