Cutz By Rick - The Standard in today's Barber Styling

Rick is the best barber that I know. He is very skilled when it comes to his trade. He is very nice and very professional. He mostly works by appointment and this is great because you do not have to wait a long to get your haircut and you know you are getting your hair cut by the best barber available. He has cut my hair for the past 23 years and he will continue to cut my hair far into the future. Book an appointment with him so that you can have the same experience!

Highly recommend going to Rick's for a haircut where you can have the barbershop experience in a 1 on 1 setting. I have been going to Rick's for about half a year now and he has become my go-to barber. Rick is as talented as a barber as he is a conversationalist and I always leave with a great haircut. The things I like most about this barbershop is the professionalism, cleanliness, and the atmosphere. Not to mention how easy it is to set up appointments, he is available almost any time of the day and week. 5/5 stars.

I found Rick through a friend's recommendation for our 8 year old little boy. Our little man loves haircuts and ever since our first haircut he raves about "Mr. Rick". He gets so excited for his fresh cut and to chat with our favorite barber. I highly recommend. We had been going to Great Clips and constantly having to fix issues, not with Cutz by Rick. I had an appointment scheduled. I came and there was nobody inside. I called the owner and he texted me he can’t do that. He hadn’t let me know before about that. I spent money to come there for nothing. EDIT, MY RESPONSE: You didn’t offer a discount. I offered a discount first. You just agreed to it. I understand something may happen. You never know, of course. But you could’ve let me know about it before. Like at least 30 minutes before. That would’ve been fine.

After being stationed in VB for school I knew I had to quickly find a new barber. Usually as African Americans in the military there are a few referrals of where to go, but I didn’t have that luxury or the time. So I did a quick google search for black barber and Rick’s business immediately popped up. I’ll never forget my first experience getting a cut. He was patient and listened to exactly what I wanted and I walked out very pleased. Rick is a great conversationalist too despite other reviews I read. It helped knowing he also grew up in The Bottom. I haven’t been to another barber since moving to the area. On numerous occasions I have appreciated his flexibility when my rigid and unpredictable schedule. Being able to book online offers another layer of flexibility. I’ve never gotten out
