Cutting Edge Hair Studio

I highly recommend Cutting Edge Hair Studio. They use color products that are not harsh on your hair, don't smell. My hair was actually got softer! I had both roots and highlights done. Ferry was a gem to work with. My first appointment, I had to cancel, and she was very flexible to reschedule. While I was getting my hair done, a woman come in and asked to have a wax and hair color. It was almost 4pm and they close at 6pm. The woman said she needed to go the hospital first to get some blood work done but would be right back. Ferry asked if she could come back tomorrow, and she said no that she was having a baby tomorrow. Ferry said go get what you need done and I will wait for you. Beyond being a great stylist, Ferry is a very nice person which for me counts a lot these days!

Ferry is amazing!!!!She did an awesome job on my hair coloring service. She is the most friendliest and sweetest lady. She was very welcoming, answered all of my questions, and shared her knowledge of hair care with me. I absolutely will return to her salon and I definitely will keep Ferry as my hair salon of choice for any of my hair care needs. I will and have already begun to refer her to my family and friends. If you're looking for a haircut in the area, I highly recommend Cutting Edge. The shop is super clean and has strict COVID procedures for safety. I had the pleasure of getting my haircut by Ferry, and she did an amazing job! She took the time to ask and understand how I wanted my haircut, and she made sure to ask during the cut if things were looking good. She was very friendly throughout and took her time to make sure everything looked good. I've experienced barbers that were rushing to get you finished and out the door, so Ferry's detailed and personalized touch was a relaxing breath of fresh air. I will definitely be coming back for my haircuts!

I wanted to try Cutting Edge Hair Studio because of all the rave reviews, and WOW, I was so impressed! Not only does this hair studio go to great lengths to keep its customers safe during Covid, but the owner Ferry treats her customers like family. My hair is super course and thick, which makes cutting it challenging, but Ferry has the most incredible skills and made my hair GORGEOUS!!!!! She really brought out the sleeky shine with the cut and style she gave me. Ferry is so nice and I love her warm personality. She is the best in this business! Highly recommend!!!!

I've been on a long search since moving to the DMV for a good haircut at a good price. I've probably been to half a dozen places all with decent at best results.
