cuttin up barbershop and salon

Great with kids! Eric the Owner is officially my son's barber, he's good with kids and knows how to cut hair. My son is 5 and has mixed hair texture. He's been through it with barbers not getting it right or on point in the past. Definitely recommend him! Been going for a few months now and he stays sharp, looking great!

I’m not the type to leave reviews, especially negative, but I feel like I would be doing the community a disservice to not express my opinion here. Been to hundreds of shops all over the country, some were bad for various reasons, this shop was a great environment, barber was friendly and I’m sure did his best, this is purely a product review. But I’ve never had a cut further from what i asked for in my life. Ask for a mid skin taper fade and got basically a high and tight military sargeant cut. Good thing the difference between a good and bad haircut is just a few weeks I guess

This barbershop is awesome!!! Its has a kid friendly environment, no foul language or inappropriate behavior. They are also open 7 days a week. Yes, even Sundays and Mondays. Conveniently located in the heart of Hampton. I have 3 sons and I myself have a short hair cut. I was pleasantly surprised to find that every barber in this shop can cut hair. I've been to barbershops where one maybe two barbers will carry the rest of the shop. Definitely not the case at "Cuttin Up". I actually sit in a chair while my sons sit in chairs. I'm blown away each time. The shop also has an area in the back fully staffed with talented hairstylists. So if you are visiting Hampton VA or if you are looking for real barbers that dont push your edge line too far back, I encourage you to pull up at Cuttin Up, gua

We would not recommend this place! We were told the pictures they have posted are from a barber who does not work there anymore. We had to return two days later and get our money back from the barber. We will not come here again! To the owner: The money was returned on Thur 7.15.21 (parking lot of the shop) around 7PM. The barber was about to leave (in his car). He gave the money back. After the haircut 2 days later had to pay for another haircut bc of what was not done correctly.

Visit this shop with my Son who has sported an Alfro for over 12 years. We finally found a barber near us that not only could trimmed his hair but made it stylish and clean cut! Andre is a Master at his art! I felt comfortable there. They have friendly perfessional male and female barbers. The shop was clean they even have a cuss jar. Looking forward to a long relationship.
