I’ve been a loyal CutLoose BK client since 2018, and they’ve consistently been my go-to for cuts, color, and now wedding styling. The team is warm, talented, and always in tune with what I’m going for. For my wedding, I worked with Jessica to organize everything and she made the process seamless! She coordinated travel to the Upper West Side where we were getting ready, and paired me with Siobhan, who absolutely nailed the look I had in mind. I got a haircut, keratin treatment, and gloss all done by Siobhan last week and it’s the best haircut I’ve ever had. I have curly/wavy/frizzy hair and have tried curly cuts, but the styling is just not for me. I talked to Siobhan about this and she told me what she thought would work best for my hair. She really honored my inspiration pictures while also giving me a haircut that truly worked for me! Well worth the trip to Greenpoint — I’ll definitely be back!

I can always count on Val to give me an amazing haircut, whether I'm looking for a shorter version of what I have, or an altogether new vibe. She is skilled and meticulous-- I've never left without a cut I love! I have a pixie cut, so there's not always much to work with, but she's able to make small tweaks that give me the refresh I'm looking for. She's also super fun to chat with!

Siobhan is very skilled and knowledgeable! She was able to quickly and accurately assess my desired cut after I showed her my inspiration. She also suggested a gloss to enrich my natural color and I am in love with the end result! I also felt very comfortable and relaxed in the shop. I had a 10/10 experience and will return for more curly cuts in the future!

Fantastic! Randi is a gem who provides the same amount of care and attention for a bang trim as a full haircut. She is a master at crafting the perfect shag for my fine hair texture. The rest of the staff and owner, Siobhan, were also incredible- providing tips and tricks for take home product. The product line they carry, Noir, is also fantastic and worth a trip alone as I believe it’s the only place in the US that carries it. It’s all very elevated but not stuffy. Thank you!
