Cute Nail & Spa In Marengo

I haven't been here in a while-probably months because I wasn't too happy the last time I came. However, this time it looks like things have changed. I brought a friend For a Mani pedicure day. We came on a Saturday around 12:30pm And to my surprise, we had no wait. They had about 3 people working and they all graciously took their time- which I was thrilled about because that was one issue I had months ago. David shaped our nails and we were so impressed how he took his time and made them beautiful! The other two were female( don't catch their names) but they did so good at designing and painting our nails. My friend was so impressed at how well they did her nails that she prefers them over her regular nail techs. Places is pretty clean too.

I would give this place a 0 if I could! They were very disrespectful and unprofessional please don’t support this business! They were very rough I mentioned many times that he was hurting me but he did not care and found ways to argue about it. I also asked for almond/stiletto shape he just did round and did shorter length then what I asked for. I also had to ask for multiple coats to get full coverage and for them to apply oil at the end which he was really rough with the oil application. I’m leaving the nail salon in pain.

Staff is friendly and it's nice inside. But, my nails are half the length they were when I went in, and yes, I told them I wanted them long. I asked for squared with soft edges. The color I chose must be popular because it was so thin, 4 coats, and not even close. Prices are reasonable if it was done correctly.

DO NOT COME HERE!!! I only came here for an emergency set of nails because my car isn't quite working the way it used to. I've been here a total of 3 times, and every single time I've had a complaint. Long sitting times just while getting them done, rudeness of staff, and overall an uncomfortable atmosphere. The regulars seem nicer than their own manager. I was in there to get a fill, and the manager was rough on my nails and skin. I left with cuts on the side of my fingers from filing, and in one of the pictures you can see the redness from when he buffed my nails. That picture was taken a day after. That same day I got my nails done, they already started peeling. I didn't notice till the next day that there was litteral BUBBLES under the paint that I could easily maneuver. That same day

PLEASE PLEASE don’t come here. They tell you one price and charge you way more!! I showed the manager the picture of what i wanted and how i wanted gel and everything he told me $45… i was cool with that then proceeded to take a seat. the lady who did my nails was rude. the end results were terrible. the hearts look bad. they’re really chunky and my pinky finger is missing color. when it was time to pay they charged me $70!.. i told the manager that he first had told me $45… he tried fixing it and didn’t make it better.. end of the story i had to pay it. i don’t know what to do now.. i paid more than what i was told. he raised his voice at me and made me pay that.
