I have never been able to figure out how to take care of my curls. I was convinced that my hair was just meant to look like a frizzy mess unless I used a lot of product. Kay was able to cut my hair for my curl type/face shape and give my curls volume and shape without all the product. My hair was soft and touchable. I have slept on it and the curls have held their shape. She took the time during the appointment to teach me exactly what to do for my hair type. I was blown away by the results. If you have curly hair you definitely want Kay to be your hairstylist.

Such a fun process getting my hair colored!! I was able to request an appt for this, schedule it and feel confident she could do what I wanted based on our convos. I felt so heard at the appt with making sure she did what I wanted. Getting a blonde color block on dark curly hair can be scary but Kayla made everything smooth:)) Will def be back !!!

Kayla is a true professional! She has helped bring my hair back to life from some serious heat damage. She knew exactly the cut to give me, and provides great styling tips and advice on products. I appreciate her humor and easygoing nature during appointments as well. I fully trust and recommend CurlsbyKay for all of your curly hair needs!!

I was struggling with the online process appearently. And instead of redirecting me to the correct screen the owner insisted on arguing via email about how she didn’t have time to be calling people. But all I really needed was help. I thought I filled out the new client form and was genuinely not understanding why I wasn’t getting a response. I do not know what happened to good customer service. A 35 second phone call could have changed this entire interaction. But I guess being a small business means you don’t have time for customer service.

I really like the environment, I was comfortable and very relaxed. My stylist was professional and explained in detail healthy ways to care for my hair(which was helpful).
