I booked with Dezi because I originally went elsewhere and they did not do a good job at all with my hair. Dezi was able to fix all of the issues I had from the other salon. I loved how she was making sure I knew every step of the process and what was being done to my hair. I was more than happy with the service. She honestly made my day!!!

I chose to come to Crystal and Sage because of its welcoming and inclusive environment, which is exactly what I look for when choosing a new salon. I booked an appointment with Vee for a shampoo, cut and style. Vee was very kind and welcoming, and I asked for my hair to be cut shorter and to flatter my face shape, I'm not very knowledgeable on hair or shaping or anything really in regards to hair, so I completely trusted Vee as she was the professional. She listened to my request and suggested long layers, so trusting her judgement I agreed. After I got home from the salon, I wasn't sure what it was but I was not happy with my hair. Just had had my hair cut and dyed by Jen Herling on 02/21/2023 and it was absolutely fantastic! She was extremely kind and friendly! Thanks to her my hair looks exactly how I imagined it. I definitely will be coming back!

If you have curly hair, I would encourage you to not get your hair cut here. It was my first time here after moving to the area. After showing references pictures and telling Sara I wanted layers she did not listen. She dismissed this and told me my hair that had not been cut for 6+ months “still had layers”. Anyone who gets layers cut in their hair knows that is not true at all. She cut my hair wet and trimmed my hair. No layers, it looks half an inch maybe shorter but other than that? No change at all. While I was there her friend’s son who was sick was there playing with her dog. Not professional at all, which makes me sad to say.

I've been going to Sara for years. She is great at really listening and honoring whatever I want to do with my hair. She is also a talented stylist/artist and I totally trusted her to create a gorgeous updo for my daughter's senior prom. She is the best!
