Crystal nails is a really great salon! I’ve been going to them ever since Vicky and her husband took the business over and I cannot say a bad word. Vicky is such a good person and very concerned that the people who work for her do a good job and it’s not easy to find good manicurists! She always has one ear and one eye paying attention to what is going on with all the customers in her salon. She’s willing to fix anything for no charge if you have a problem and need to come back, and I have never witnessed any rude behavior on her part. Unfortunately too many people expect something for nothing and I have been getting my nails professionally done for at least 35 years and can tell you that no salon will take off old gels, tips, or powder for free if you’re not getting a new set. Since the store changed ownership, the quality has been ruined. My first time with the new staff I asked for stiletto gels. She technician kept saying she hated the stiletto shape and kept hemming and hawing and having to make my nails pointy. The service took 1 hour and 45 minutes and was extremely painful. Days later when my nails began to grow out, I noticed she had dremmeled my nails into OBLIVION. My nail plate is GONE. I went back to request the nails be removed and to get a refund, but the manager insisted they fix*** my nails for free. I told her I was terrified of fresh gel curing on my paper-thin nail plates and the burning that was cause, but she assured me it wouldn't hurt. Highly recommend! Had a fantastic experience - good value, great service, and fabulous manicure. Staff was kind and had great recommendations for color, design, and type of manicure. *Updating: 1 year later and this is still my go-to. Always willing to accommodate walk-ins, open to trying complex nail designs, and my gel tips last for weeks!

BEST NAIL SALON! This is my go-to salon because of the cleanliness, attention to detail and 5-star experience every time. They have a great selection of colors and you can get basic manicures or super detailed nail art. If I could give them more stars I would! They go above and beyond in every way - excellent massages with the pedicures and special moisturizing gloves with the manicures - it’s awesome! The owner is so nice, hardworking and very friendly. I always have the best experience and the best nails. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

update - new owner - abby no longer works there. Best place around tbh, I’ve tried a lot of nail places in monroe and they all overbook and are crowded and don’t do a good job! That’s not the case at Crystal, I have to venture a little bit out of town but it’s so worth it. Abby is a great nail artist who never says no to a design I bring in. But everyone there is great!
