I rarely write reviews, but I owe it to myself (and others) to share this experience. This was by far the worst customer service and most unskilled salon experience I’ve ever had. I went in for hair coloring and showed the stylist two photos of the look I wanted — soft, natural highlights since it was my first time coloring my hair. From the start, the process was harsh and painful. She was rough, inattentive, and careless. During shampooing, she got water, soap, and even hair color in my eyes twice. Instead of apologizing sincerely, she laughed and said, “Sorry, sorry.” Communication was also difficult, and despite repeatedly asking her to be gentle, she brushed it off by saying, “You have a lot of hair.” After four hours of discomfort, I looked in the mirror and was shocked — the highl

My recent visit to Crossgate hair salon with Lindsay turned into a complete nightmare. Initially, she appeared confident about performing a highlight root touch-up on my hair and assured me she would do her best. However, the outcome was nothing short of disastrous. My hair ended up with uneven colors, displaying shades ranging from orange to white, brown, and even black in patches. It was a chaotic mess of multiple colors that was far from what I expected or paid for. Upon expressing my dissatisfaction, the salon offered to fix the issue. However, given Lindsay's dismissive attitude and lack of apology, I no longer trusted them to do my hair anymore. In the recent 6 months I've become a regular. This place is popular so call ahead to make an appointment. I've been pretty lucky and not had to wait more than 15 minutes. There's usually 2 or 3 stylists at a time. They cut my hair exactly how I ask and know how to deal with my oddly located cowlicks. They don't rush and take time to carefully and meticulously cut your hair. My hair gets all over everything and they make sure to clean it off so I can continue with my day. Can't beat the price here either.

I just had the worst experience they cut my bangs all the way to the middle of my forehead when I just wanted to trim and then she kept cutting and now my hair looks so messed up that I can’t even wear it down. I have to push it all back. And she still made me pay for it. It’s horrible. Do not go here.

They don’t know how to handle black hair. Tugged and yanked. They had 4 hair stylists working on my hair. If I could give zero stars I would.
