I saw all the recommendations for this place so I made an appointment for a woman's haircut. The stylist was late arriving to the salon, and then rushed through washing and cutting my long hair in 15 mins, told me her next client was there and she didn't have time to dry it. I would've at least liked her to offer to dry my bangs (since I made an appt and she was the one who was late), but she was quite rude so I just wanted to leave. And to make it worse, she charged me $55 for those 15 mins! I got home and also saw she took off about 2 inches when I asked for 1/2" trim. I got the impression my stylist didn't care because I wasn't a regular client. She was right - I won't be back and I would not recommend this place. I've been going to Priscilla, the owner, for 14 years, since I moved to the Needham area. Prior to that time, I always had trouble managing my hair. One side would always "whip" out in the wrong direction. Priscilla gives me such a good cut that styling takes almost no time, with no more misbehaving hair. After wearing a bob of various lengths, I ventured to a shorter, layered cut which I love. Beth has done my hair on a couple of occasions when Priscilla was unavailable, and I've always been pleased. Priscilla has given me excellent advice on coloring and highlights/lowlights as well as the great hairstyles. I highly recommend this salon!

I've been going to Beth at creative expressions for almost 15 years now. I am always impressed by her ! She takes the time to make sure understands what I want and does everything in her power to make sure I leave happy. She is constantly learning and improving her craft and is always willing to help me try something new and adventurous. I appreciate that she will always tell me how it is, what is realistic for my hair and what each new style requires for maintenance. She's not afraid to be honest if my request is unrealistic-a quality I think many of is take for granted in a great stylist.
