My wife visited the stylist Johanna for hair coloring. The request was to make an ombre, light brown roots with a smooth transition to blonde. My wife's hair was already dyed and there was a perfectly clean blonde with overgrown natural roots. She wanted a more durable staining to be corrected every six months, so she chose ombre. The details of the coloring were agreed in advance in the messenger, my wife sent me a photo reference of what she wants. Johanna assured that she would be able to do such coloring and it would cost about $150. When she came to the salon, she showed the reference once again and clarified the details of the coloring. I knew Johanna was talented and skilled, but I was still blown away when I had the chance to sit in her chair for my wedding hair and makeup. She created a classic updo that made me feel like a queen, accommodated for a rainy day, and kept much of my hair in its natural straight texture - a difficult triad! Along the way, Johanna was professional, prepared, and communicative. On the wedding morning, she had such a gentle presence and was so kind with my little nieces and the various people who were in and out of the room. Johanna was amazing! She is confident in her craft and makes you feel so welcome + cared for. I was taking the brave dive into getting bangs after having a middle part for three years!
