I can’t say enough good things about this new awesome space in Westboro! It’s a super fun and chill spot to hang out with friends and everyone can choose a craft or art they’d like to do. If you’re overwhelmed or unsure of what to try, there are workshops a few times a week (included in the $20 admission along with all supplies you’d want to use). I originally went to make handmade cards, but I’ve since learned how to make jewelry, do collage, and I’m now obsessed with stamps and can’t wait to try some simple sewing projects next. Went to this lovely maker-space for the first time today and I will definitely be back. They have supplies for pretty much any craft you can think of. Its a perfect way to try out new project ideas. They also have a library of craft books available and the owners will show you how to do something if you’ve never done it before. I had a blast trying out quilling. Looking forward to my next visit!

We absolutely love Craft Lab! My teen daughters and I are full-time members, and it has become one of our favorite creative spaces. The lab offers so many craft options—crocheting, painting, drawing, sewing, jewelry making, and more. What makes it special is the freedom to choose what you want to work on, at your own pace, while still getting support when you need it. The owner is wonderful—she does frequent check-ins, offers guidance, and genuinely cares about helping everyone succeed. She also runs a wide variety of classes, allowing us to pick up multiple new skills along the way. It’s welcoming, well-run, and incredibly empowering for anyone looking to learn and explore creativity. Craftlab in Westborough is an absolute gem. Every craft supply you could possibly want is right at your fingertips, and the space is clean, welcoming, and thoughtfully set up. The owner is incredibly friendly and makes you feel less like a customer and more like a friend the moment you walk in. Think of it as Central Perk from Friends—but for crafting. For just $20, you can stay as long as you want, use any materials, and create as many projects as your heart desires. It’s a 14+ space, which makes it perfect for teens and adults looking for a relaxed, creative environment. Honestly, it’s hard to leave. If you love crafting (or want to fall in love with it), this place is a must.

I learned about Craftlab Westboro through Instagram. I was nervous, and excited, to learn more about the possibilities of the makerspace. I’ve always had a crafty inclination, but it had fizzled with changes in life and space and responsibilities. Craftlab posted a special weekend event for New Year intentions and it was a perfect fit to dedicate time to revamp my house’s annual vision board. Lián greeted myself and my boyfriend with incredible warmth and kindness. She focused on what the space and her community have to offer. Lián made us feel like wanted guests.
