I enjoy everything about this friendly local newspaper. Even the beautiful ads tell so much about the area and local events! We look forward to it every week.

They are the best! They've kept & are still keeping so many of us informed with what is going in our communities. They give us the truth from week-to-week. Their advertising is wonderful. They've been helpful to many businesses. They've become a staple in many communities. I would recommend them for businesses and personal matters of informing or getting informed. Plus they are great people to be involved with. They're always kind and courteous.

I’m sorry that I can’t rate this rag as zero stars. The article and attached noose picture shows what this paper really represents. It represents what’s truly reprehensible in this country and how folks feel emboldened and empowered to unmask themselves as the hate mongering racists that they are. The fact that their leadership has the nerve to call this a mistake is laughable. Newsflash. That’s not credible based on things that have been published previously. Your fish wrap is extremely biased and clearly not inclusive. Any advertisers who continue to pay for ad space with them should be ashamed...and are assured to never see a penny of my money. I’ll make it a point to spread the word as well. Anyone who can’t see the problem, is part of the problem.

If I could provide 0 stars I would. This newspaper continues to allow racist antics to be posted. To post an opinion piece that included a noose suggesting that a specific group of people is evil and should be punished with fear insinuating that they should be hung is outrageous and unacceptable. Jeff the apology is worthless and the newspaper should be shutdown. This is absolutely insane. 2nd time with something like this. Stop publishing this type of trash or shut it down!

This is disgusting!! If I could give zero stars I would! How and why would you do this? I have always been proud of where I grew up and considered it a friendly neighborhood community. Now I see people are STILL thinking this way. Very disappointing.
